Psalm 51 – Have Mercy

Have mercy on me, O God. According to Your unfailing love. According to Your great compassion have mercy on me. Wash away all my iniquity, cleanse me from all my sin for I know my transgressions, have mercy on me. Have mercy… on me, O God. Against You have I sinned, O God. I’ve done evil in Your sight. You are justified when You judge, O God. Have mercy on me. Hide Your face from my sins, O God, blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, have mercy on me. Have mercy… on me, O God. Do not cast me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of Your salvation. Have mercy on me, sustain me with a willing spirit, a broken heart You won’t despise. You are the Lord God who saves me. We cry out for Your mercy… have mercy…

Revelation Chapter 5

In awesome silence heaven was waiting patiently. Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll? Lion of Judah, the root of David, Lamb that was slain. The One who triumphed over the grave. You are worthy, You are worthy to open the seals for You were slain. With Your blood You purchased men for God from every nation. You are worthy, You are worthy of power and wealth, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and praise unto the Lamb that was slain. Ever before You, creation worshipped and praised Your Name, the risen Savior, Lamb that was slain. The praises thundered, voices of angels encircled the throne, thousands and thousands of creatures and elders sang… Worthy, worthy is the Lamb!

Colossians 3:1-4

If then you have been raised up with Christ keep seeking the things above where Christ is. Seated at the right hand of God – where Christ is. Set your mind on the things above not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden away with Christ in God. For when Christ who is our life is revealed then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Oh, when Christ who is our life is revealed.

Habakkuk 3:2

Lord, I have heard of Your fame. I stand in awe of Your deeds, O Lord. Renew them in our day, O Lord. In our time make them known. In wrath remember mercy.

Colossians 3:16  “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach & admonish one another with all wisdom, & as you sing psalms, hymns & spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”
